Vicki Cheng

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, I have over 8 years of design experience. Originally a webdesigner, with experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, I eventually took an interest in graphic design--becoming familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. As I entered high school, I became a freelance graphic designer, earning extra pocket money to fund my growing collection of DVDs. Today, I specialize in logo design, print work and illustration--while dabbling in other types of design such as web and video editing.

During my college career, I began working in the entertainment industry as an intern for such companies as Sony Pictures, The Institute for the Development of Enhanced Perceptual Awareness and Concept Arts. I gained experience in Production, working as a Production Assistant on commercials for Kay Jewelers, with director David Harner, and Victoria's Secret, with director Michael Bay. I also worked on Entertainment Marketing projects for upcoming films Sherlock Holmes, The Losers and Unknown White Male (among others) and worked on viral websites for Bioshock 2 and Mafia 2.

I graduated from UCLA in December 2009 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Film, Television & Digital Media. I currently reside in Los Angeles and am seeking a full-time career in Entertainment Design & Advertising, Marketing & Publicity, or Film/TV Production.
